The Lakeside High School Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax deductible as to the extent allowed by law. For further information, please contact the Foundation. Funding for current and future projects depends on the support of Lakeside alumni, community businesses and individuals interested in continuing the tradition of excellence at Lakeside High School.

Lakeside Foundation Donation Levels

The Lakeside Foundation will maintain donation records as cumulative, giving each donor a chance to reach their own donation goal:
   • Viking Level: $5,000 & up
   • Valhalla Level: $2,500-$4,999
   • Legend Level: $1,000-$2,499
   • Gold Level: $500-$999
   • Purple Level: $100-$499
   • Spirit Level: up to $99

LHS Alumni Society

The Foundation has formed the LHS Alumni Society, which will serve as a standing committee under the Foundation. The committee will be responsible for communicating with alumni, working with reunion groups, and maintaining membership databases. For additional details, please visit the alumni news page.
Freshmen: $15.00
Sophomore: $25.00
Junior: $50.00
Senior: $100.00
Records of all dues paid will be maintained by the LHS Foundation.

Ways to Give

The Lakeside Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, is currently seeking donations for grants, scholarships and endowments, including:
   • Unrestricted Donations (supports the Operating Fund)
   • Restricted Donations (project approval by Foundation)
   • Honor and Memorials
   • Endowment Fund
   • Planned Gifts (Bequests by Will or Trust, Life Insurance Beneficiaries, etc.)
   • In-Kind Gifts
   • Matching Gifts

Matching Donations

We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization - contributions are tax deductible. If your employer has a matching charitable giving program, contributions to LHSF will likely qualify (obtain the proper form from your employer and your gift may be doubled or tripled; our tax id number is 20-5471241).

No gift is too small.

Here’s How to Contribute

The Lakeside Foundation is able to accept donations by check mailed directly to the Foundation and via on-line giving.

Please enclose a letter or note providing the following information:
   • Donor name and mailing address, including city and state
   • Alumni: provide Class of ____ information
   • Parent of current student or alumni: Provide student name and graduation year, if known
   • Business Owners: full name of company, contact and mailing address
   • Staff and Faculty, current or previous: provide years at LHS, if known

Donation Program

All donations which were received between November 2006 and December 2008 of $1,000 or more qualified the donor to have their name placed on the Founding Donors plaque that will be permanently displayed at the front entrance to Lakeside High School.
