The Lakeside High School Foundation is pleased to offer a Grant Application to Lakeside groups requiring funding. Additionally, donation/gifts made specifically for a Lakeside organization are welcomed and the grant application for those funds is now available. Grant application / donation information.
The Lakeside High School Foundation, Inc. ("LHSF") will accept donations from individuals,
community organizations, businesses and foundations as follows:
- General gifts to LHSF of any amount (no minimum, no maximum).
- Designated gifts to LHSF-originated and directed programs/activities (i.e. - endowment fund,
scholarship fund, service awards program, capital needs fund) of any amount.
- Gifts to the LHSF that are designated for Lakeside High School teams,
clubs or other organizations (each, a "Grantee") will be accepted as follows:
The Grantee will pay a service fee of 4% of the total gift amount to LHSF.
The Grantee must make written application to LHSF in order to receive the gift as a grant.
LHSF will grant funds to the Grantee directly and will not be responsible for making any payments
for or on behalf of the Grantee.
The Grantee must have a bank account into which the grant may be deposited.
The Grantee must have a coach or a teacher sponsor approved by LHSF.
The Grantee must return any unspent grant money back to LHSF.
Prior to the acceptance of the designated gift and the approval of the grant,
the Grantee must meet in person to discuss the gift and grant with the
LHSF Board of Directors or an officer or authorized representative thereof.
Such designated gifts must be a minimum of $1,000.
